ONSITE: Learn about Letterpress with Legos (B)
Learn how to use VisArts' letterpress studio by using Legos! Letterpress is a form of relief printmaking that uses a printing press and typesetting individual letters to create words and designs for printed media. We will be using Legos to create our own designs and print them on paper.
- Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.This studio is not wheel chair accessible from the interior due to two steps, but is accessible through an exterior door.This is an On-site course. Students must follow current Covid-19 protocols, as outlined on our website. On-site courses do not come with studio access outside of class time. About the Instructor
Jud Judson is a multi-medium artist based in Richmond, VA. With a focus in Darkroom practices, they like to explore other mediums through their photography. As a self-taught artist, they have formed a passion, for ceramics, screen-printing, letterpress, and mixed media printing processes.
