Assembling Creativity Kits: We need volunteers to help assemble and package Creativity Kits which will be distributed to Richmond Public School students. Volunteers would help with things like cutting paper/fabric, packing supplies into envelopes, placing stickers on envelopes, etc. We have shifts on Mondays and Fridays, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. All shifts take place at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond (1812 West Main Street). We will practice safe, social distancing with work stations at least 10 feet apart. We will provide hand sanitizer, Lysol wipes and have sinks available for hand-washing. All volunteers are required to masks. If you are interested in helping, please click the button below.
ArtVenture Summer Camp: Every summer, we offer art classes to kids in our community through our ArtVenture Summer Camp program, and we need volunteers to make it happen. Volunteers assist in the classroom alongside our teachers, help with check in and check out, print t-shirts and help us monitor breaks and lunch. We have volunteer opportunities for adults as well as for students ages 14-17 through our ArtVenture Youth Ambassador Program.
