Inclement Weather: VisArts does not follow the inclement weather closings of area schools. Closings are announced on the website, on Facebook and Instagram. VisArts’ first priority is always the safety of our students, faculty, and staff. Expect full-day closures and delayed openings to be announced by 7am, day-of. VisArts will determine whether to cancel evening classes and special events by 4pm. Current students can expect to receive an email from VisArts’ education team with information about rescheduling any missed classes.

Visitor Policy
We are happy to welcome visitors to the Visual Arts Center of Richmond. Our facility and gallery are open 9am to 9pm each day! To ensure the safety and security of our community, we do have guidelines in place for what visitors are able to see and do at VisArts. Please read our visitor policy.
