ONSITE: One Screen, Endless Possibilities
The class will explore the many ways one screen can be used in screen printing. We will create many different silkscreen prints by experimenting with color, repetition, placement, and various paper and surfaces such as wood, fabric, cardboard, etc. Students will decide if they want to focus on one main image or have multiple images on the same screen. Students of varying levels will learn the very basics of screen printing or will enhance their current knowledge of the medium by experimentation.
- Supply fee includes some inks + papers, but students will be responsible for bring in additional materials that they wish to print on. Previous knowledge of silkscreening would be a plus but not necessary. Must be willing to have fun and make mistakes.
