ONSITE: Introduction to Woodburning (This class is only offered twice a year!)
Have you ever wanted to learn the art of woodburning? In this class, we will teach you the basics of pyrography – from understanding the different techniques and skills involved to creating your own unique designs. At the end of this course, you'll go home with a wood-burned project of your own design, and a skill that you can further apply to your craft.
Special Notes
- Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.Woodburners are available to use. Prior drawing experience heavily encouraged, but not required. Students will be working with heating tools, that will produce smoke. if you have asthma or other related health issues, please consider before joining course.This is an On-site course. Students must follow current Covid-19 protocols, as outlined on our website. On-site courses do not come with studio access outside of class time. Paid open studio access is available through our Studio Access Program. Please visit visarts.org for more information.
