ONSITE: Intermediate Wheel + Hand Building
Learn to make functional forms such as bowls, mugs and lidded pieces. We’ll review the basics of wheel throwing and hand building—including pinch, coil, and slab construction methods—before building on what we know. We’ll also cover surface treatment and glaze techniques.
Special Notes
- Prerequisite: a beginner clay class or comparable experience. All materials and equipment provided.
- You will receive 25 pounds of clay; additional clay is available for purchase.
- Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
- This is an On-site course. On-site courses do not come with studio access outside of class time.
