ONSITE: Fun with Painting (Ages 6-8)

Kids will learn how to paint what we see by breaking up the shapes of an object such as a toy or kid-made creation to paint it representationally. This class will be an introduction into color mixing and how to have fun while taking notice of the world around you. Students will learn about line and shape and be able to create their own little sets.

About the Instructor

Tori Qualls

Hi, I'm Tori! I love to paint and talk about art! In my work I try to reuse supplies and repurpose old fabrics to give them new life. My subject matter usually leans toward domestic scenes such as the home, and the incorporation of fibers help bring an expressive quality to my work. I love all mediums, but I use a lot of paper in my work in different collage forms.
