ONSITE: Family Studio: Colorful Papier-Mâché Lanterns
Come and make art side by side as a family. Each week, families will explore a new medium and create a beautiful project together. We will construct colorful, papier-mâché lanterns to light up our springtime evenings!
- All materials and equipment provided. Families can include up to 4 people. This program is best suited for families with children aged 3 to 8, however, all family members are welcome.
- Families need to sign up before 4pm the Friday afternoon before. Confirmations/cancellations will be made by 5pm on Friday, the day before.
- Due to a set of stairs, this classroom is not wheelchair accessible.
- This is an On-site course. Students must follow social distancing protocols and wear masks at all times. For more info visit visarts.org.
About the Instructor
Kristy Severin is a mother of two, a certified art instructor, photographer, painter, and writer. She earned her BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in Art Education and Art History and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Uganda, East Africa.
