Learn how to observe and sculpt objects in clay. Students will choose objects like shoes, figurines, stuffed animals, etc and learn how to recreate them in clay. Metal Sculpture (Ages 15–18) – NEW!

Transform metal with direct fabrication techniques. We’ll learn to hammer, forge, texture and shape brass and copper sheet or rods into components. We’ll use metal connection techniques such as riveting or torch soldering to build unique, 3-D structures. Students will take away at least one metal sculpture built to either large or small scale.
