Classes

Write On! (Ages 12-14)

This class is all about writing! Tap into the power of your imagination and memories to draw inspiration for creative writing. We'll transform an ordinary composition book into a writer's notebook and use it to write about personal experiences, interesting characters, memorable places, and more. Each class will include a combination of fun short activities and a longer writing session. You'll leave the class with many pages of writing and several new creative writing projects.

Special Notes

  • Class time will consist of generative activities, writing time, and conversation. Previous creative writing experience is not required. Students may go outside for walks.

This is an On-site course. Students must follow current CDC + VDH guidance outlined on our website: visarts.org
