Classes

ONSITE: Intermediate Drawing

If you've taken multiple beginner drawing classes or have experience with drawing in the recent past, this class may be a great opportunity for you to "get back in there!" This class will allow opportunities for you to experiment and recover your mark-making style and apply it to various subject areas with different dry media. This class will provide the following: (1) Assistance and guidance through drawing exercises in order to hone existing techniques in drawing.  (2) Use techniques to apply to the subject matter provided by the instructor or student, in the form of still life, portraiture or landscape studies. (3) Demonstrate the use of drawing instruments such as various drawing pencils and charcoal.

Special Notes

  • This class does not meet on 6/19.
Prerequisite: A beginner drawing class or comparable drawing experience. Intermediate Drawing students will need to be comfortable with putting pencil to paper with the likelihood of making mistakes. We will discuss the use of ink and brushes at the beginning class to determine if we will use them.
