ONSITE: Family Studio: Making Beautiful Blue Cyanotypes Using Nature + Sunshine

Come and make art side by side as a family. Families will explore a new medium each week and create a beautiful project together. Cyanotypes are a simple but fun photographic process involving light-sensitive paper, natural objects, and the Sun! We will walk around the neighborhood to gather objects, then come back to VisArts to place the objects on light sensitive paper and create beautiful blue prints. The print appears like magic!

Special Notes

  • Each person must individually register. Registered children must be accompanied by a registered adult. This program is best suited for families with children aged 3 to 8, however, all family members are welcome. All materials and equipment are provided.
