Look at Me! Self Portraits (Ages 6-8)
During this week-long class we will explore the ways in which we can express who we are through our art! We will do traditional self-portraits using drawing and painting techniques, but will also expand our idea of what this genre can be through mosaic and paper arts, clay and sculpture, paper mache, and even word art.

Abby Ritt
Abby Ritt moved from New York City to Richmond in 2020 and immediately felt at home—the people, the vibe, the river! She is a parent, a teacher, a coach, a mentor, and a Girl Scout leader. She is a lover of the outdoors and of crafts. Abby’s professional background is in publishing and she has worked as both an editor and a writer; a champion of stories and those who craft them. She feels blessed to have found her people in RVA and within the creative and generous community of VisArts.
