Expressive Soft Sculpture (Ages 12-14)

Students will learn to hand and machine sew, dye fibers with fiber-reactive dyestuffs, and embroider with floss and yarn to create soft sculptures. Students will explore the relationship between medium and concepts to create layered works that express their ideas.
