Craft + Design Takes Home Top Prize at Virginia Public Relations Awards

Craft + Design, the Visual Arts Center of Richmond’s annual contemporary craft show, won top honors at the Virginia Public Relations Awards on Thursday, May 24 at the Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Va.

Craft + Design was recognized with the top award in the events and observances category. The judges were impressed with VisArts’ aggressive and wide-reaching marketing plan and the creative tactics used to double both attendance and revenue at last year’s show.

Every year, the Richmond Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) honors statewide organizations and companies for excellence in public relations at the Virginia Public Relations Awards ceremony.

VisArts is accepting applications for its 54th Annual Craft + Design Show until Saturday, May 26 at midnight.
