VisArts to Host Open Studio Happy Hour on Dec. 13

On Wednesday, December 13  from 5 to 7 p.m., VisArts is hosting an Open Studio Happy Hour to showcase its 15 professional art studios and new open studio access program.

Guests are invited to stop by VisArts’ 1812 W. Main Street location to enjoy refreshments, explore the building and learn more about how to get studio access.

Starting January 3, 2018, VisArts is offering paid access to its studios during designated open studio hours. This is a great option for those individuals not currently enrolled in a class or those who would like to be able to use the studios between sessions.

Beginning in January 2018, VisArts will offer at least 10 hours of open studio access per week in each of the following studios:

• Clay
• Creative writing
• Digital arts
• Drawing and painting
• Glass
• Fiber
• Letterpress
• Metals
• Photography
• Printmaking
• Wood

In some of our most popular studios, such as clay and glass, VisArts plans to offer many more hours of open studio access each week. We’ll add more hours, across all our studios, as demand increases.
