Play Day Craft Sale Applications Due April 21
The Visual Arts Center of Richmond is soliciting applications for its Play Day Craft Sale, which will take place on Saturday, May 20 from 12-3 p.m.
Play Day is VisArts’ spring open house. The organization opens up its studios and invites members of the community to come have fun and make art, free of charge. Everyone enjoys food and beverage stations, artist demos, shopping and lots of time in the studios.
Last year, 1,000 people attended Play Day. The craft sale is juried by VisArts’ Play Day committee and runs for the duration of the event. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 21 to be considered. Artists will learn whether they’ve been accepted to participate in the sale by Tuesday, April 25. This year, VisArts is only accepting online applications.
