Birdies for Charity

DONATE ONLINE (Mastercard, Visa and American Express are accepted. Credit Card Fees Apply.)

  1. Visit VisArts’ unique Birdies for Charity donation portal.
  2. Enter the donation amount and select the Visual Arts Center of Richmond from the drop-down menu, if necessary, and fill out the billing information form.
  3. Donations are processed immediately, and donors will receive a confirmation email from PGA TOUR Charities, Inc. that will serve as a receipt for tax-deduction purposes.

Note: Gift charges will show as PGA TOUR Charities, Inc. (Tel: 1-904-285-3700) on credit card statements. 

DONATE BY CHECK

  1. Make checks out to PGA TOUR Charities Inc. and write “Visual Arts Center of Richmond” in the memo line.
  2. Mail checks at Attn: Birdies for Charity to:

DONATE FROM A DONOR ADVISED FUND

  1. Log into the donor portal and select PGA TOUR Charities Inc. for the grant/gift recommendation.
  2. Designate “Visual Arts Center of Richmond” in the grant purpose section and follow the prompts to complete the request.
  3. Submit the request for the gift and grant memorandum to be mailed at Attn: Birdies for Charity to:

DONATE REQUIRED MINIMUM DISTRIBUTIONS FROM AN INDIVIDUAL RETIREMENT ACCOUNT (IRA)

* Donors aged 70.5 and older can donate funds from their annual required minimum distribution from an IRA account through Birdies for Charity.

  1. Ask your IRA Fund Manager to issue a check in the desired amount to PGA TOUR Charities Inc. and designate “Visual Arts Center of Richmond” in the memo line
  2. Mail checks at Attn: Birdies for Charity to:

The PGA TOUR and Dominion Energy Charity Classic will not solicit for organizations. Participating charities will have record of all donations and maintain donor relations. Maximum bonus of $10,000 per charity, $125,000 for the entire program. This program is operated by PGA TOUR Charities Inc., a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
