Sculpting Animals, Objects + Characters – New!
Molded like a block of clay, they say. In this workshop, you will actually learn to sculpt from a solid block of clay. You can make little guys, your beloved pets, a memory, your favorite chair–anything you wish. Work from reference photos or from memory to bring your sculptures to life. Discover how adding or removing clay to your piece will add volume, texture, and depth, then hollow your form out to make the sculpture lighter.
Special Notes
Accessibility notes: Many artmaking processes require the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, fine motor skills/finger dexterity, repetitive motions, vision, and some amount of physical strength. VisArts values making classes accessible to everyone, and is always happy to work with students to make accommodations when possible. Please reach out to [email protected] with specific questions related to accessibility or accommodations.
