Fall 2020 at VisArts
FALL 2020 UPDATE: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Visual Arts Center of Richmond is currently open by appointment only for staff, members of our Community Studio Rental Program and a limited number of small, on-site classes.
To keep our on-site students safe, we’re closely following guidelines put in place by public health officials. We’re taking precautions to ensure that all studios are sanitized regularly and that everyone in the building is practicing social distancing. Masks are required at all times at VisArts.

Fall 2020 Online + Onsite Classes
Our fall 2020 catalog includes a mix of online and on-site classes for adults. Registration opens to VisArts members on Monday, August 24 at 9 a.m. Registration opens to the general public on Tuesday, August 25 at 9 a.m.

Clay Days
This fall, we're hosting a series of open-air workshops in our outdoor courtyard. These special, weekend-long events will include workshops tailored to different ages and skill levels. Come learn about pottery or practice your skills and enjoy some fresh air!

These are great for adults, kids and families who want to create art at home, on their own time. Each kit contains a project designed by a local artist with step-by-step instructions and the supplies you need to make it, thanks to Plaza Artist Supplies.
