Closely, We Drift features a collection of 13 artists participating in the Studio Access Residency at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond. Through exploring new mediums and building on the familiar, this exhibition reflects each artists’ relationship to the flow state. As we understand the rhythm of each medium we touch, we understand the world deeper. As we become connected to our work through habit, ritual, and practice, we become one. To create a symbiotic relationship is to share a suspension of time. We offer this time to honor creativity as a vehicle of connection.
