Classes
Metalworking: Make Your Own Keepsake Boxes (Ages 12-14)
Learn an introduction to metalworking and box-making techniques through the creation of a unique small box designed for a special object of their choosing. What is the history of this object? What is its purpose? Does it have sentimental value? All these questions will contribute to our designs. Students will learn piercing, sawing, soldering, filing, and simple design/drawing. More skills will be taught as determined by the individual projects.
