Classes
Hand Building: Tell a Story Through Sgrafitto
Continue developing hand building skills such as slabbing, coiling and attaching. Create both sculptures or functional objects using combined building techniques to create forms that go beyond the cylinder. Design richly decorated surfaces that have a narrative quality using a variety of techniques including sgraffito and mishima. In this class, there will be many types of demos, while the projects will be largely student driven. This class is a perfect opportunity to have lots of one-on-one time with the instructor to create the projects of your dreams!
