Guerrilla Filmmaking: From Script to Screen

This class is a seven-week journey into the world of guerrilla filmmaking, and is perfect for those ready to make a feature film with little-to-no budget. This class is all about leveraging creativity over cash, focusing on the down-and-dirty techniques that get your film shot, no matter your resources. Through practical exercises, on-set problem-solving, and real-world advice, the instructor will cover everything from assembling a resourceful team, to maximizing low-cost locations, to DIY production design, and capturing quality audio and visuals with minimal gear. By the end, you’ll be ready to turn your vision into a reality, guerrilla style. The class is taught by award-winning filmmaker and screenwriter Cleve Lamison.

    Accessibility notes: Many artmaking processes require the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, fine motor skills/finger dexterity, repetitive motions, vision, and some amount of physical strength. Join award-winning filmmaker and screenwriter Cleve Lamison in an intensive 8-week screenwriting journey focusing on the core elements of storytelling: Character, Conflict, and Climax.
