Emma has a BA in Studio Art from Mary Washington College and was later certified to teach Art K-12 at Georgia Southern University.  Emma has run offices for a small advertising agency, a large department store and a cooperative gallery. These experiences combined with her time as a VisArts Guest & Student Services Coordinator led to her current role as VisArts’ Finance + Office Coordinator.

Emma is also a painter, who has shown nationally in exhibitions and galleries as well as internationally through the State Department’s Art in Embassies program. She grew up mere blocks away from VisArts and loves being back in the neighborhood.
