Calling all clay friends! Join us at an upcoming Throw-A-Thon to support VisArts. At our beloved Chili Throwdown, attendees will taste-test Richmond’s best chili, celebrate our clay community, and take home a handmade bowl—all to raise funds that benefit VisArts’ operations and programs. We’re asking for our community of clay artists to lend their talents and time to help us reach our 1,000  bowl goal!

Who can participate in a Throw-A-Thon?

Hand builders and wheel throwers are welcome to join us! The more the merrier—just drop on by VisArts’ clay studios. No RSVP necessary.

Please note that prior experience is required—these events are not classes or workshops.

Are there any perks?

For every 10 bowls you make at a Throw-A-Thon, you’ll get one free ticket to this year’s event on October 3.
