Classes
Making Comics in Procreate on iPads (Ages 12 – 14)
Students will learn the basics of comic book storytelling, including character design, panel layout, and speech bubbles. Through exploring different styles of comics and collaborating with their peers, students will gain confidence in expressing themselves and develop their artistic and communication skills. By the end of the program, each student will have created their own original digital comic book in Procreate, complete with characters, story, and artwork, providing them with an exciting opportunity to explore their creativity through making comics.

Accessibility notes: In youth art classes, many artmaking processes involve (age-appropriate) fine motor skills, physical strength, vision, and ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. VisArts values making classes accessible to everyone, and is always happy to work with students to make accommodations when possible. Please reach out to [email protected] with specific questions related to accessibility or accommodations.
