Classes
Learn to Weave a Scarf on a Rigid Heddle Loom (Adults and Youth 15+ with a Registered Adult)
Learn to make a scarf on a rigid heddle loom! Rigid heddle looms are user-friendly, portable, and perfect for beginners who want to learn how to weave. Students will learn to warp the loom with cotton thread, making it easier for beginners to hold tension on the loom, then move into weaving the weft with wool thread. We will learn plain weave with a few simple variations to make your scarf your own. Students will be able to choose their own colors from a variety provided. We will learn how to tie it off, sew it up, and wash it to complete our finished scarves!
Special Notes
- All Materials provided, and scarf length will be 10" x 64" long.
