Tom Adair

Tom holds a BFA in Printmaking, Eastern Michigan University (1970). He has an expansive national and international exhibition record. He has shown work in America, Europe and the Persian Gulf area; he is known for his Drawings, Performance and Conceptual work. Since 1988, Tom Adair has taught at Virginia Commonwealth University, teaching in the Art Foundation Program, Painting and Printmaking, Photography and Film Departments, the University HONORS Program, and VCU-Q in Doha, Qatar. Currently, he teaches a self-authored Topics class in the English Department entitled, Art and Language:one word at a time.
