Théo Bignon
The´o Bignon is a French artist based in Richmond, VA, whose work investigates notions of desire and identity through sculptural wall installations involving embellishment techniques such as hand-embroidery and beadwork. After graduating in Political Science and History from Sciences Po Paris, he moved to the US to study art at the University of Pittsburgh. His artwork has been exhibited nationally in Pittsburgh PA, Richmond VA, San Diego CA, and Los Angeles, CA, and he has received a Dean’s award from the University of Pittsburgh.
