Leigh Suggs

Leigh Suggs received her BFA from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in studio art and her MFA in craft/material studies from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. She currently resides in Richmond as a full time studio artist. Leigh has taught at VCU, Penland School of Crafts and Arrowmont. Her most notable shows are Racine Art Museum (WI), Taubman Art Museum (VA), Weatherspoon Art Museum (NC), GreenHill (NC), and Reynolds Gallery (VA). Her recent publications include American Craft and Surface Design.
