We will go over locking up forms or type, registration or placement of paper on the press, and feeding the paper and printing. This class will include instruction on the treadle powered platen and table top platens.

Each student can expect to leave class with two small editions of linocut portraits!
read moreCreate multicolored relief prints from a single block using the magic of reductive woodcut! We’ll learn how to plan and carve a reductive print, and then crank them out in the VisArts letterpress studio. We’ll make two different prints (one smaller, one larger).
