Join the VisArts community online for our Craft + Design Online Community Art Project! Artists of all ages (adults, too!) are invited to this giant, fast-paced, group art class. Using bold + colorful drawing materials and sturdy paper, you can follow along to create a work of art around the theme of gratitude. We’ll celebrate what and who we’re thankful for and spread that love with the gift of art. Expect some dance breaks, music, pet cameos and camaraderie with your friends in the Richmond arts community!

Join the Virginia Museum of History and Culture to learn about how kids played in the past! Explore the history of five types of toys: Nine Pins, whirligigs, paper dolls, marbles and jacks, and our favorite, ball-in-Cup. This video will show you how to make a ball in cup at home with recycled materials.

YouTube Premiere
Join us for our Third Annual Clay Olympics to see four, Richmond potters face off in wheel-throwing challenges for the grand title of VisArts Clay Olympics Champion. Four competitors will race to build various vessels in three exciting challenges and we’ll be premiering the competition through YouTube Premiere on Friday, November 27. Make sure to comment and vote for a winner as they race for the title of Clay Olympic Champion. Commenters who (correctly choose the champion will be entered to win a wheel throwing class at VisArts!
