Wooden Cover Books – New!

Make three unique, blank books and develop skills in both bookbinding and woodworking. We’ll focus on coptic and long-stitch bindings as well as wooden and hard covers. Bringing skills and techniques from other mediums is much encouraged in this interdisciplinary bookbinding course.

About the Instructor

Nava Levenson

Nava Levenson is an artist and maker based in Richmond. She received her BFA from James Madison University where she was awarded Outstanding student in Studio Arts. She has shown her work in many exhibitions in and out of Virginia, spent time at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts as well as Oxbow School of Art and Artists' Residencies, and been an artist-in-residence at Azule and Old Furnace Artist Residency. She is passionate about creative home renovation, tiny book making and scrap usage.
