Secret Aesthetics of Pottery – New!

Survey some of the top functional ceramic artists and learn about their aesthetic voice in clay. We will delve into aesthetic rules and discover how they relate to one another. You’ll see examples of each aesthetic rule in both powerpoint format, then in demos on the wheel. Finally, you’ll try your hand at throwing and executing various aesthetic components of thrown forms.

Special Notes

  • Students would need to have intermediate throwing skills. Advanced preferred.
  • Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
