ONSITE: Weekend Quilt Coat Workshop
For this design and sew weekend, we will use the Hovea Quilted Coat Pattern to plan an improv pieced design for your coat. Choose “Party on the Back" or “Party All Over” for your design layout. Explore fabric color, value and pattern scale combinations for a coat that is uniquely YOU! This class requires prep work to prepare by sewing a fitting muslin before the class in order to maximize class time. Everyone brings fabric scraps to share!
Special Notes
- Must be an experienced quilter, as this class will not teach quilting basics. Sewing Machine with walking foot and seam guide, plus experience in garment construction required.
Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
This is an On-site course. Students must follow current Covid-19 protocols, as outlined on our website. For more info visit visarts.org.
