ONSITE: Visible Mending: Clothing Repair Through an Embroidery Lens

Learn and practice new hand stitches each week that will create vibrant colors and textures as you mend your clothing. You can apply these techniques to torn areas, stains or to embellish something that is damage-free. As we practice various stitch styles we will create patches that can be applied to clothing in class or saved for your future repairs.

Special Notes

  • Lisa will have plenty of fabric scraps to practice on and make patches with. If you have any fabric scraps at home you are hoping to use please bring those to class along with any clothes you are hoping to repair and/or embellish. If you do not have any clothing to fix or decorate at the moment, the patches you create in class can be saved for future repairs. If you have a pair of sharp scissors at home, please bring those along too.

Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.

Students must follow social distancing protocols and wear masks at all times. For more info visit This is an On-site course. On-site courses do not come with studio access outside of class time. Paid open studio access is available through our Studio Access Program: if interested please visit
