ONSITE: Visible Mending: Clothing Repair Through an Embroidery Lens

Learn and practice new hand stitches each week to create vibrant colors and textures for mending clothing. You can apply these techniques to torn areas, stains or embellish something damage-free. We will create patches that can be used for clothing in class or saved for future repairs as we practice various stitch styles.

Special Notes

  • Lisa will have plenty of fabric scraps to practice on and make patches with. If you have any fabric scraps at home you are hoping to use please bring those to class along with any clothes you are hoping to repair and/or embellish. If you do not have any clothing to fix or decorate at the moment, the patches you create in class can be saved for future repairs. If you have a pair of sharp scissors at home, please bring those along too.
