ONSITE: The Basics of Oil Painting

Students gain a solid and hands-on foundation in oil painting, Drawing from my extensive experience studying the medium across various sources, students will have the knowledge and confidence to pursue independent painting endeavors if they so choose. Individual progress will vary based on each student's interests and goals.

Special Notes

  • Drawing experience is not mandatory, but enthusiasm for delving into the world of oil painting is. This course provides a hands-on and easily understandable approach.

    Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.

    This is an On-site course. Students must follow current Covid-19 protocols, as outlined on our website. On-site courses do not come with studio access outside of class time. Paid open studio access is available through our Studio Access Program. Please visit visarts.org for more information.
