ONSITE: Stop-Motion Animation (Ages 15–18)
Jump into the world of traditional stop-motion animation with a modern twist! Design original worlds and bring paper cutouts, clay, food, and many other objects to life! Learn how to plan and produce 2D and 3D animation sequences using traditional animation principles and DIY setups that are accessible to anyone with a phone.
- Students should bring a flash drive or be prepared to upload their work to a cloud drive.
Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.

About the Instructor
Ariana Hamidi is a filmmaker who combines autobiographical fiction and political satire through performance art, re-photography, animated texts, and 16mm hand processes. Her films have been shown throughout the US and internationally including Anthology Film Archives, Int'l Film Festival Rotterdam, Athens Int’l Film & Video Festival, MadCat Int’l Womens Film Festival, and Beijing Int’l Film Festival. Her film and companion chapbook, Dear Cyclops, was published by Bronze Skull Press. She has an MFA in Performing Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a BFA in Film, Photography, and Visual Arts from Ithaca College.
