Classes
ONSITE: Screenprinting on Glass (this class is only offered once a year)
This is a glass fusing class focused on creating design and imagery on sheet glass. Students will learn basic design methods using stencils, screenprinting and monoprint techniques. These sheets can then be turned into functional wares such as plates and coasters or as hanging glass art "paintings" on a wall. Students will learn how to cut and grind glass safely and learn about various methods of using glass powders, particles and sheets. No experience necessary.
Special Notes
- Students can print with up to $30 of glass materials, anything over that will incur additional charges. Students should plan to wear clothing they don't mind getting dirty (ink) and bring a KN-95 or P-95 for printing with fine glass particles. Wearing closed toed-shoes is strongly recommended in the glass studio.
Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
