ONSITE: Fiber Fun (Ages 6-8)

Get ready to explore the world of textiles! You'll be learning how to create some amazing things in this class – from making felt animals to weaving beautiful bags. You'll also be learning about all the different types of materials you can use to create your masterpieces – from cotton to wool.

Special Notes

  • Students may go outside in the neighborhood for walks.

Patrick Carter

Patrick is a fiber artist and elementary art teacher living in Richmond, VA. He teaches weaving and ArtVenture classes at Vis Arts, and his most recent projects include machine tufting rugs and painting watercolor portraits of his cat.
