ONSITE: Drop the Mic: Poetry and Performance
Say what you mean to say, in front of an audience and on the page with this poetry workshop utilizing performance as a tool for revision. Through in-class writing exercises and small group performance, poets will unpack voice, meaning and even form in the poems they bring to class. We will finish with a group reading of our workshopped poems.
- Students should bring something to write with.
- Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
