ONSITE: Digital Photography (Ages 9-11)

Learn how a digital camera works, how to import photos to computers and how to use Adobe Photoshop to edit. Go on field trips around the neighborhood to take photos, enjoy demonstrations, hands-on practice and detailed overviews on composition and creative decision making.

Special Notes

  • Students will go outside to take photos. Students may bring their own digital cameras. If you need to borrow a camera, VisArts has very basic point and shoots cameras. Please email [email protected] to reserve one, as we have a limited number!
  • This is an On-site course. Students must follow social distancing protocols and wear masks at all times. For more info visit

Janpim Wolf

Janpim Wolf is a graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in 2011 with a double major in Photography + Film and Art Education.
As a trained art educator, she enjoys inspiring students of all ages to foster an appreciation for the arts. She has taught in diverse settings locally and internationally.
She is passionate about exploring other cultures, teaching, and being a life-long learner.
