Low Tech Fabric Printing Workshop
Learn to create beautiful patterns on fabric using reactive dyes. We’ll focus low-tech and low-cost ways to print fabric using stencils, found objects, and simple tools to create beautiful and experimental designs on fabric.
About the Instructor
With an undergraduate degree in art history and a MFA in textiles, Julia has been quilting her entire life. She is a studio artist and has successfully turned a family tradition into a contemporary art form. She teaches at both the community and college level. Julia’s hand dyed and printed quilts have been exhibited extensively and can be found in numerous national publications and collections.
