Bra Making Workshop

Create your own custom-fit, one of a kind bra. Working from a kit of materials, we’ll review some sewing basics and work from a pattern to create a bra. Leave with a completed garment and the skills to create more on your own.

The instructor will email each student before class with instructions for taking personal measurements. The pattern, the Cloth Habit Harriet bra, will then be emailed to each student. Feel free to print instruction booklet to bring to class to take notes. Pre-cut patterns and all materials will be provided in class. If you have your own machine, I highly recommend you bring it with you to class, as long as it has a zig zag stitch and can sew at 1/4” seam allowance. Please also bring your machine manual, just in case. If you have a personal sewing kit, you may want to bring that as well but it is optional.

About the Instructor

Sarah Curtis

Sarah started sewing in 2010 when she simply wanted to save some money on roman shades then shifted her focus to clothing in 2012. Now, thanks to a wide variety of sewing classes and inspiration from sewists around the globe, her once-casual hobby has spiraled into a goal to someday never buy ready-to-wear clothing again.
