Artist’s Books: Flag Book– NEW

Explore the medium of artist’s books, works of art that utilize the form of the book. We’ll focus on a structure known as the flag book, which is a dynamic, sculptural form that lends itself to combining fragments of image and text. Our books will be constructed entirely out of found/repurposed fragments and materials. A variety of paper ephemera will be supplied by the instructor, but students are encouraged to bring their own materials to use.

Special Notes

  • Students should bring an assortment of recycled paper ephemera/collage materials for use in their projects.
  • Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
