About the Studio
VisArts’ digital lab is equipped with eight work stations in its main classroom, as well as a small attached classroom that offers open table space. Each workstation has an iMac with access to the Adobe Creative Cloud. Installed programs include: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Premier. The studio is also equipped with a laser printer and scanner. Wacom tablets are available upon request.
Students should plan to bring headphones if they are incorporating sound into their work. No work may be saved directly onto the lab’s computers. Instead, we ask that students save files to their personal cloud storage or bring a USB or hard drive with them to the lab. Students may not install any software, apps or programs onto digital lab machines; if you require a particular application, please make your request, in advance, to your teacher or to the studio coordinator.
These hours are for the fall session, which runs from September 11 through December 4. Please note that there are no open studio hours on First Fridays.
