Rachel Beanland, APR has more than a decade of experience communicating on behalf of non-profits, government agencies and institutions of higher education. She earned her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) in 2005, is a past president of the Richmond chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and is a 2010 graduate of Leadership Metro Richmond. Rachel studied art history and public relations at the University of South Carolina and earned a graduate certificate in arts administration from Winthrop University. She enjoys writing fiction and essays, and most recently took James Fueglein’s Short Story Writing class at VisArts.
